How You Can Help
More than how can you help it should be how can we help you? This organization is designed to help you in the classroom, as an artist, or before and after your classroom experience.
This organization is made up of art educators from a variety of levels and experiences. They all want to help you and also want your help. In the arts, we tend to be the solo act in our schools, system, and even in our county or region. AAEA is made to make connections, get assistance, lend assistance, and arts advocacy.
Through our blogs, website, newsletter, and conferences, we connect with other art educators for the benefit of our students along with ourselves. We offer regional and statewide workshops and hands on experiences that can be taken back to our schools and put in place.
Oh did I mention the development of lifelong friends? Yes, just a perk that comes from sharing experiences and ideas with people who feel like you do about art and young people.
