The Alabama Art Education Association is a professional organization of art educators dedicated to advocating art education by following national standards, providing membership services, professional growth and leadership opportunities.

Members of AAEA are art educators from every level of instruction:

AAEA members are concerned about quality art education in our schools. The Alabama Art Education Association is an active affiliate of the National Art Education Association.

To become a member of the Alabama Art Education Association, complete the

This year we are partnering with Sargent Art to offer new and bigger prizes - be sure to participate. Use the official entry form.

Deadline for entries to chairperson is 12/15/08.

  It's time to check into the Scholastic Art Awards 2009. Learn about registration, eligibility, submission guidelines, and other information in the Alabama Regional Teacher Guide.. The deadline for CD submission packages is January 20, 2009. Teachers can use this Excel form to list entries.

This year's exciting conference, Imagine IT - Art for Every Child! reflects two projects: Artist John "Jahni" Moore will share his insight and painting talents with us by creating three large art advocacy murals to be painted by the participants of the Conference.
